Khong Guan Corporation has expanded a recall of frozen glutinous rice balls because some packages may contain peanuts that are not declared on the label, according to company announcements posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The recall matters most for people with peanut allergies or severe peanut sensitivity. The company said no illnesses had been reported as of the July 15 and July 16, 2026 recall notices, but consumers with affected packages should not eat them.

What to do first
If you have one of the affected bags, do not eat it. The company says consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
The recall began after a customer reported suspected peanut content in the Glutinous Rice Balls with Black Sesame Filling. The company later expanded the scope to include the black-and-white rice ball product because of similar undeclared peanut-allergen concerns.
